I was actually pretty hesitant to buy Luna, but I`m actually glad I did. The dove gray, silvery base makes for a lovely contrast against the silver glitter. The texture IS a little rough, but I love the silver sparkle against the gray. I agree that the clean up is a pain, but I`ll deal with that just for the overall effect of Luna. Like a glittery moon. I think it took me about four coats to reach the opacity I was looking for.

I loved Luna! It`s a nice solid glitter. It seems like the people who don`t like it didn`t read the description- it has a lovely gray polish in with the glitter, NOT a clear polish. It looks frosty and very lovely.

I knew it was in a grey base, and that wasn`t the issue - it was hard to make it opaque but 3 coats did the trick. The issue was removal. It took FOREVER, one of the worse removals I`ve ever had to do. It would have gotten another star if it wasn`t for the almost 45 minutes it took to remove it all.

I really wanted a super-glittery silver polish, and this one fits the bill: BUT.
When they say dove-gray base, they aren`t kidding. I wish Zoya had a clear polish with silver glitter. It looks a little better after it dries, but the glitter is pretty chunky, and it took three coats of color (on top of a base coat)to keep it from looking really streaky. It does look good: I guess it just wasn`t what I was expecting.
It wears well: I used the color lock system, and 5 days in, not one chip. I think my biggest issue with it is that I couldn`t get a smooth shiny finish. Even with two coats of topcoat, the glitter makes the surface bumpy, and therefore, it`s a strange combo of dull and sparkly.

I think I must have gotten a bad bottle of this because the base, which should be clear, is a milky white and it dries that way too. It actually looks really bad, to the point that I won`t even use it on my toes.

I used to have a chunky silver glitter polish and wanted to replace it with a better formula. I decided to give Luna a shot. Luna is a pretty silver glitter polish but didn`t have the effect I was going for. I used 3 coats to achieve opacity.
