I like the formula for this one. It`s the right thickness. I really like the color too. Work appropriate. I had to do three coats so no lighter spots showed through though. This made the color darker than I expected it to be based on the website. That is why only four stars. It is still a very flattering color (I am pale with blue/red undertones to my skin); like a dark mauve. I am still pleased.
I can`t wait to wear this color. Aside from the obvious reason that it bears my name, it is the perfect Fall red: bold, creamy and dark. It will go splendidly with a camel trench and the mustard tights that have become my Autumn calling card!
Formulation and coverage are spot-on, and it almost doesn`t even need the second coat.
Liz is not the color I expected from the description, and there are almost no images of swatches available online. I see more of a brick red base than a mauve. It has more brown than I was expecting, but I love it! This baby is a Classic for a reason. It`s timeless!
